About
I have been drawing family homes, workplaces, hospitals and maps since 2007 and for about the last 10 years I have been designing Jigsaws, Calendars and a variety of merchandise.
I developed my style using skills I picked up art directing during a brief spell in advertising, bringing ideas to life with marker pens and drawing story boards. I also spent a year making etchings. I have moved from one of the most traditional art processes to embracing twenty-first century art technology.
My pictures are all sketched, inked, then coloured with a digital pen. This process gives my clients a chance to stay close to the creative process. Each drawing takes between thirty to forty hours to finish. On completion of the first draft I offer clients the opportunity to have changes and tweaks, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
My clients come from all walks of life – personal, corporate, public bodies and the occasional celebrity. I am always discreet and will never give any personal information away.
I have images licensed as jigsaws with WHSmith and Jumbo, and fine china mugs made by Staffordshire based Dunoon Ceramics.
I also have large art installations in hospital wards at The Royal Stoke, County Hospital and in the main entrance hall of The Haywood Hospital, all in North Staffordshire.
I feel truly fortunate, not only that my passion is my job, but that the thing I do makes people happy.
